Friends of Oxford Cancer Public Event

To thank our donor community for their generous and ongoing support, Oxford Cancer is hosting a series of events for its supporters. These events will highlight and discuss some of the key areas of cancer research currently taking place across Oxford and provide supporters with an opportunity to put their questions to the experts.

In the first event of the series, Tim Elliott, Kidani Professor of Immuno-Oncology and Co-Director of Oxford Cancer, will give a talk on the history of immuno-oncology (the study and use of the immune system in the fight against cancer) and how Oxford Cancer researchers are seeking to push this new and exciting therapy to its limits in the coming years. The session will be followed by a Q&A.
