Konstantin Koshechkin

Konstantin is a data analytics and data engineering professional with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, and research.

At Oxford, Konstantin supports high-throughput NGS data processing using scalable AWS-based pipelines and contributes to data management and digital infrastructure planning. His background includes AI/ML development, regulatory tech, and digital transformation in both academic and clinical environments and his expertise includes cloud-native data platforms, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), SQL/NoSQL databases, ETL orchestration, and the use of NextFlow in combination with Python for bioinformatics workflows.

With strong capabilities in pipeline development, data governance, and system validation (GxP, HIPAA, GDPR) and medical education by training (PhD in Biology and Pharmacology), Konstantin's role is to bridge the gap between research, clinical, and IT teams to deliver scalable and compliant data solutions in life sciences.
