  • Challenge: Inducing tumour-specific immunity and preventing escape

Using longitudinal data, analysed using topographical data analysis tools, Oxford researchers are integration expertise in T cell responses to standard immunotherapies and the techniques developed in Oxford’s Human Immune Discovery Initiative, to define the impact of patient and tumour characteristics. They will be addressing whether and how immune escape can be avoided through the deployment of therapies earlier in the course of disease (linked directly to work in Early Cancer Detection).
