Sara is responsible for the management of the Oxford Molecular Diagnostic Centre (OMDC) and co-ordination of the facility’s strategic activities.
The aim of the OMDC’s activities is advancing precision medicine by improved diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of care in blood cancer patients. The research centre hosts a range of genomic diagnostic expertise in NGS sequencing of liquid biopsies and bioinformatic analysis. These technologies have the potential to translate into clinically validated methodologies.
Sara’s role is to ensure the delivery and development of projects through the facility that align with the OMDC aims and with Oxford as a leader in cancer research.
